Shimano DI2 Slates Wiggins

In Cyclesport (apparently)... At a Pinarello Launch in the middle of the Giro before Shimano ducked out, it apologised for chucking his rider in the Trentino and said "It's not the bike, it's Wiggins I'm mad at. If you're going to buy one of those high maintenance lightweight riders, don't buy it with the stupid haircut, MOD fascination, general surliness, boring interviews and inability to finish an Italian GT - buy the Froome one."

Made me smile :)

Might have been able to make a joke out of that if you'd thought about it for a bit

Yeah the bit "At a Pinarello Launch in the middle of the Giro before Shimano ducked out, it apologised for chucking his rider in the Trentino and said..." made me smile too, cos it was crafted so direly it didn't make sense. Can't remember Shimano ducking out, or understand Shimano being an 'it', or how 'it' did (or even could) 'chuck his rider'.

Think you re taking it a bit too seriously

Anyway are we actually going to argue over whether or not a sentence is funny or not? Really? It's a satirisation (word?) of the utter horsesh1t that is spouted about any form of groupset on BR, that is all

Um, yes, it might be a satirisation (word?), and a good one, if it made any sense at all!

    ...is that horsesh1tmano you mean?

Let's face it, on a score of 1-to-10 on funny, it scored a 'Miranda'.

    No it really really isnt

Go to road general if you want another groupset discussion, there a hundreds of people who think it's matters what gears you use there - just recently there was a fascinating discussion about how batteries run out if you don't charge them! I mean...like...Wow!!!

True but we argue over things that (if not important) at least don't have one obvious answer

Don't you dare say or type his name three times, he'll appear and all nerdy biased hell will break loose.

Shame, cos he's such a barrel of laughs, I miss his relentless friendly humourous banter to be honest.

100% this. I'm not a comedian, was just gently taking the mick out of the other thread. No need for hand bags or twisted panties!
