Annoying popping noises are coming from bike and Ive narrowed it down to saddle. Its a carbon railed Romin and Ive swapped it with a Ti Romin from another bike and the noise has stopped. I cant see anything wrong with the saddle and was wondering if anybody has experienced anything similar?

carbon paste will do the same thing as GT85 - its dry on dry poppinging squeaky that you've got.

i already had sprayed the joints with GT 85 and if anything it became worse. The rails already have a roughened surface so shouldnt need carbon paste.

  • Don't know that model but I had same problem with a Spesh saddle and I tightened up five or so little grub screws on the underside (held a kind of rim to underside tidying up overlap of material) and it solved it ..... Maybe worth trying. ?
