Di2 downtube internal cable ties

I think one of mine may have become unwedged, for want of a better phrase. I have an internal downtube rattle that occurs at speed over chippings surfaced roads. It is like a certain harmonic sets a loose cable tie rattling.
Is there a technique for re-installing this cable so the ties are all locked in?

Got the same issue with my Izalco Pro at the moment which has Ultegra Di2. Rough surface and it sounds like a clothesline is slapping the inside of the downtube towards the bottom bracket area. I'm not very happy Where the Di2 cable enters the downtube at the top of the headtube try taking the rubber plug out, gently extracting as much cable as you can and then carefully rotating - you will feel the cable ties turning over in the tube that might do it (or make it worse...)
It didn't work for me and I am having to contemplate more extreme measures I think as the downtube on the Izalco is pretty oversize I wonder if the tie thing is ever going to work - thinking about stuffing some soft cell foam in the tube secured with dental floss to pull it out again if needed and just wondering whether it's better to take the cranks off and try and push it in from the bottom bracket or drop the forks out and go in from the top. Anyone else had this issue?0 -
I also have a large downtube so suspect it is a similar problem. I had a little fiddle with mine on Saturday and it is much, much better and now almost silent.
I like the idea of a few low density foam blocks/balls inserted through the head tube and may try this. Ithink the cable ties are meant to be scored so they are not straight and I can see the cable ties working on a narrow down tube but a different solution will work better on larger downtube bikes.Boardman Elite SLR 9.2S

I've been looking at this again today and I'm not sure there is any access from the headtube into the downtube on the Izalco (or is the headtube an actual 'tube'). No-one seems to know and I'm not all that keen on knocking the BB30 out myself just to stuff a bit of foam in.
Anyone had the forks out of their Izalco can you access the downtube?0 -
So to answer my own question yes there is access to the downtube from the headtube - dirty great hole in fact
It did seem to help to drop the fork out and pull and twist the Di2 wires around a bit seems to have relocated some of the cable ties or pulled them up the tube a bit.0
