Hi,

I recently got a new track pump that has a double connector for mtb and road, the MTB side has stopped working and air only comes out of the road hole. It's relatively easy to take the head apart and as far as I can make out the only thing separating the to holes is a chamber with a rubber ball bearing in it. I have no idea how it actually works but there doesn't seem to be any damage to any of the parts there's just something stopping the air coming out of the the right hole.

Any ideas before I chuck it the bin?

Buy a new hose or change your tubes to presta (which are not road specific)

What's the make and model of your pump? You have loosened the presta valve haven't you?
