Sportives in bad weather

This was the Granfondo Ventoux last Saturday 1st June. Well done the guy in blue shorts. I was walking at this point like most.

    The guy in the Radioshack kit that appears Stage Left at 0:23s is riding deep section wheels :shock: and he's not doing too badly.

    Wow! I have ridden in rough conditions, but that looks like something else.

    The main reason I ride a heavy steel bike with mudguards and a carradice saddlebag is so it wouldn't blow away like all the light carbon bikes on that video! ;)

    Been up the Ventoux in windy conditions but nowt as bad as that. That was pretty amazing and scary looking.
