Hi guys,

I bet you're all fed up of this kind of post so i'll try to keep it short and sweet :)

Stats
Age:28
Height:6'
Inside leg:32"

I've been told to get a bike with a 55cm/22" frame.... is this correct?

I also have around £500 to spend.... and have been looking at the following bikes;

Triban 5 - http://www.decathlon.co.uk/triban-5-roa ... #avantages
GT GTR 5 http://www.wiggle.co.uk/gt-gtr-5-2013/
Battaglin S11 Sora 2013
Felt Z100 2013
Verenti Belief - 2013

Can anybody give me some pointer on which of these i should be considering?

Many thanks for any advice you guys can offer...

Tom

    Same size as me, I had a 56cm Specialized Allez then bought a 58cm Cube as they normally size one up. Best to sit on the bikes and see which you feel comfortable on, if 2 feel good, buy the one you like the look of.

    See if you can get a test ride of a 54cm, bikes have a good degree of adjustability in them these days.

    56 frame for me Scott, Specialized & Sensa found was about right, but its best to sit or try the bike as different manufacture geometry changes things a bit.

    54cm is tiny for a 6' rider. why would you suggest that?
