So I have some 26" alex rims fd19 and have been offered some wider better compound tubeless maxis tires off my buddy for a couple of pints.

I have done a bit f looking around and just wanted to ask the question, will those rims convert ok or am I wasting my time and money.

Also would I be best off paying the 50 quid for a proper kit or go for the 20" inner tube and sealant route?

    just use tubes.

I use the same rims. Converted with the stans kit. Works seemlessly, no punctures since last August...
