Hey, I bought a second hand 2011 Boardman Team FS in february this year.

After many trips to Afan and Cwmcarn I have noticed a knocking sound in the suspension system. After some investigating, I noticed that the main pivot point, located next top the bottom bracket (see attached pictures), had some play in it and was moving. After removing the crankset and tightening the two allen bolts everything seemed fine. But after another trip to Cwmcarn I noticed it had started to move again and now wont tighten up anymore.

I wondered if anyone knew how to fix this? If not, how would I go about replacing whatever i'll need to replace?

Thanks in advance

Michael

Bearings fubared? But check it's not the shock bushing.

I've just checked the shock bushings and they seem to be fine.

How would you go about replacing the bearings? Would it be best to take it to a shop? I don't really have any specialised tools.
