So with getting a new bike wanting to get insureance for it in case it gets stolen and I have a accident in it and just asking who people have gone with. British cycling seem the best at £66 but don't really know what's the best

What was that figure you were quoted for?

£28 will enrol you in Ride membership which gets you legal assistance and £10M third-party liability.

If you have BC membership you can get 10% off their theft insurance (which isn't really them, someone else, but it's good apparently) - was that what you got the £66 figure for?

Lots of options out there but a lot of BR users seem satisfied with BC. Also worth looking at CTC (ctc.org.uk) as well.

Add it to your home insurance, so about an extra £10 a year

  • BC is really a good insurance company. The Allstate company too is a good one.
