I pretty much stick with Specialized for fingerless gloves, model depends on how much padding you want.

On-one/planet X mitts are great value, only £5.99 plus P&P (unless you spend a bit more to avoid the P&P!)
Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.

fox inclines (or what ever the replacemnt model is called - ranger i think?). £20, well made, fit well and usually get a couple of years out of them

I'm wearing a pair of Royal Racing Blast (currently £13 from CRC) and got a pair of 661 Raji as backup (under £20 from BD & CRC) - both, comfy, lightweight, full-finger gloves
