I have a BB that had died - but it seems to be discontinued
I have no idea how to find a suitable replacement
its for my Shimano 105 5600/5603 cranks
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
It's an old bike + just want a cheap replacement to keep the bike rolling
thanks

any HT2 type will do. take you pic from shimano road ones or any of the patten ones fro Token.Hope.First.
have you asked your LBS?"Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

^^^ what he said - any HT2 one will do from £10 to £40
£11.99 for one of these will do fine if you just want a cheap one:

You can replace the bearings on the HT2s as well if you are so inclined:

Or this if you want something they have in stock

(I got some Ultegra ones from CRC a while ago for £11 because I can't resist a bargain! Haven't needed to fit them yet; my 105 5600 one is still going strong in it's 6th year)0 -
