cassette spacers on mavic wheel

Just fitted my once broken wheel back on bike (thanks mavic/canyon)
Question though, how many spacers should the cassette have and where should spacers be placed.
Wheel is mavic elite, cassette is dura ace 10 speed.
Mainly asking as gears slipping in middle of cassette and think I've put too many spacers or in wrong order.
Thanks

Check Shimano Tech docs for exact model. Also check Mavic to see if the freehub needs the spacer if the cassette is not fixed solid.

You need the Mavic spacer that comes with the wheel, plus the thin Shimano spacer.0

He's talking about the spacers IN the cassette, and should do as Sandyballs suggested.0

Ah I see.
Pretty obvious though isn't it?! I mean even a chimp couldn't f&*k that up? You're not going to put 2 gears flush next to each other or double space them, are you....? er, I hope not, anyway......0 -
In fairness, some cassettes (e.g. Campag) have multiple spacer widths. Admittedly I didn't think this was the case with Shimano, but there's no harm in checking.0
