Hi if I had an 8 speed 13-26 and installed a 13- 28 would I need a longer chain? If so how many extra links would I need? It's a new chain.

    depends how tight it was to start with.

    probably not. the extra 2 teeth isn't much so your derailleur would probably cope with change.
