Hi

Not too long ago I took a tumble on the bike, luckily no injuries to myself but the bike landed on the pedal bending the crank by a good 6-8mm

Yesterday i changed up a gear and noticed a noise, i checked it today and it seems the crank/ring is bent from the impact

Is there a place i can get this straightened or is a new chainset in order?

Any help appreciated

Thanks

depends on the crankset and the degree of damage, if it was bad enough that the spider is distorted, there could also be cracks/weakened areas

tbh unless it's very minor and you can diy i'd say get a new crankset
my bike - faster than god's and twice as shiny

    its a shimano 105 5601 hollowtech,

for the time being i angled the front mech, does not touch anymore either side

going to dismantle and see what part is bent, if the spider is fine can i get new rings from shimano?

you can buy new rings but a new chainset is often not much more

If you hit with enough force to bend the crankarm i would be worried about what else was bent. Hopefully nothing, but to bend a crankarm, now that takes some force and it makes me wonder about other things. Frame, bottom bracket.
