Dauphine - Stage 3 *spoiler*

Tony Martin has a stomach upset and may not start stage 3 tomorrow. A decision will be made in the morning.

Martin says there seems to be some stomach bug doing the rounds through the peloton. I suppose his Omega teammates (and Talansky's Garmin ones for the same reason) are the most susceptible to get it next. Though Chavanel, Kwiatkowski and Meersman all seemed fine the way they rode at the end of stage 2 today.

Chris Anker Sörensen (TST) not started.

From the off, 4 riders went clear and after 20 km had a lead of about 6-50. This has now reduced slightly after 25 km.

32 Juan Antonio Flecha (VCD) +1:57
    116 Jacob Rathe (GRS) +14:29
    146 Fumiyuki Beppu (OGE) +22:05
    149 Sander Cordeel (LTB) +22:11

French TV demands it due to clash with French Open Tennis.

    Interesting, thanks.

Beppu appeared to have some troubles on the descent, but they are all together again.
The Japanese rider lives in this area, by the way, and his girlfriend is awaiting him at the finish. They are expecting their first child in September.

    OPQS on the front.

20km to race, catch imminent. Last climb summits about 10km from the finish.

As if on cue Hoogerland attacks but a QS rider bridges and sits beside him. Back together in less than a minute.

Didier from RS attacked and got a gap but then De Clerq of Lotto attacked and came past him pretty fast.

Lots of riders off the back. Talansky is hanging in there as is Bouhanni.

Nice sweeping curves here that can be taken at speed.

QS rider off the front (just descended away). Might be Kwia.

EBH takes it. Only because Bouhanni`s path was blocked by Geraint (not deliberately).

Do you think EBH was getting a little worried by 'all' these confirmed and rumoured new Sky signings?

Geraint rode just about everyone out of contention for the sprint. Very strong.

Ah yep, fair enough, I have heard him talk about Lars Bak a few times. Too late with your edit though :P

Froome came in 41st at the same time as the leader so will have dropped positions but not time.

    Edit: Froome is 11th.
