Started riding 3weeks ago..... 100 mile in 10 weeks

    I'm no superhuman, just a normal guy like the rest of ya'lls that likes to ride a bike. The difference is I see challenges as opportunity and don't make excuses. Try it brotha, you might surprise yourself.

  • Thanks again for the advice guys.

    At the last minute I entered the Tour de vale (local sportive) which I rode today, 55 miles and starva is telling me 2800ft of climbing so was a good test, took me bang on 4 hours which I wasn't disappointed with.

    Feeling it now!!

    Nice. Going by the 50% rule 100 miles will be a cake-walk.

    all good sensible advice on this thread - one other I would add is to pace within the ride, go really easy for the first early section of the ride to warm up and the last 15 minutes in the small ring
