Nice, a white saddle would look better imo. Prefer the matt black mate, sorry

Nice - did you upgrade to 105 from 2300? Re the stock saddle I've found it fine, get on quite well with it!

How do you find the RS30s? I considered them when upgrading from stock

Wait... is that a stock saddle on yours houston26? Doesn't look anything like mine!

I bought it with the upgrades already done but my last bike had 2300 and I couldn't get away with the thumb shifters. The 105 upgrade is worth it for that alone.

The wheels are lighter than stock so pulls a lot quicker off the line, but there still not a lightweight wheel, more a budget aero. I would def look at other options

I thought the seat was stock, got specialized and gel written on it so just assumed

Guess the saddles are just different. How much extra did it cost with 105 already installed? All I feel I need to upgrade is the brakes, they're sooo flexy!!

Bought the bike second hand for 500.

The 105 brakes are very stiff, there's not really much feel from braking to locked up wheels, but then I'm more used to disc brakes on a mtb.

I should really start my own thread instead of hijacking, lol

Nice bike btw, does it have the metal flake in the paint?

    Allez galore! Ale' ale ale!!

One thing in common is that you've all upgraded the wheels. :P

Ok, I was thinking of get some SRAM brakes anyway. To be blunt it's always a downgrade going from disc to rim brakes! Maybe disc brakes will have a market on road bikes :)
