So my dad had some sidi genius 2 shoes he brought back around 1992 and hardly wore them and has kept them and now am getting into road cycling he has given them me, I have tried them on they fit good, round for feet to move around, and what am wondering is if these will fit spd sl pedals as my dad can't remember as he doesn't cycle anymore thanks

The cleats on the shoes pictured are not Shimano SPD SL compatible ones - they look like Look's, but Shimano ones will fit as the 3 bolt fixing points are compatible with both Look and Shimano. You just need new cleats, and pedals of course and off you go.

You have look delta cleats there, and good condition ones too. You could go on the cheap and find some old delta pedals, which i still use btw, or you could go all up market and get Keos or similar.

No, they're Keos. You may have to look on ebay or elsewhere, because no-one sells them new anymore, you need Look delta pedals, with model numbers such as 206, 236, 337 etc. like these:

Ok thanks, may just get some new cleats so can use newer pedals
  • I don't suppose you still have these sidi's? I would be interested in purchasing if they are te right size.
