Cube Acid upgrade

Hi,
I have Cube Acid 29er 2013, but when I tried Cube LTD pro 2013, it was much easier to accelerate (I needed less effort to reach certain speed). What should I change to make Cube Acid faster (similar to LTD pro)?
If I changed Cube Acid hubs to Deore XT and cranks to Deore XT, would my bike become faster? Or should I change everything to XT?

The Cube LTD Pro is a 26" bike is it not? So would be a lot easier to accelerate! New hubs, and cranks won't help. Bikes accelerate faster if they're lighter, and having a lower rotational weight, so a good improvement would be a new wheelset (e.g. stans crest on superstar hubs).0

Cube LTD pro is 29er too. What does better crankset improve?0

May be lighter or stiffer but it's not going to make any significant difference in the way you want.
If you want sensible answers try linking to the bikes you're talking about.I don't do smileys.

For instance, Cube Acid with XT cranks0 -
Changing the cranks won't really help, new wheels are a much better idea. As cool dad said, link the bikes!0

Cube LTD Pro 29 (the one I tried): http://www.cube.eu/en/hard/cross-countr ... -29-black/

Its almost a kilo lighter, that's why its easier to accelerate. And again, the easiest way to make your bike lighter and increase the acceleration is the wheels, not the drivetrain.0

Tyres
Wheels
Forks
Controls (seatpost, handlebars, stem, etc)
Drivetrain
Brakes
From the top, that's the order I'd upgrade things. XT cranks might look bling, but they'll do almost nothing to change the feel of the bike.0 -
Weigh all your current bits, then find bits a kilo lighter. But it's going to cost you. I'd start with tyres.I don't do smileys.
