Either of these any good? Light rider (9 stone), 2007 Carrera Kraken hardtail, Gisburn trail centre type usage.

Thats not a bad price, wouldn't get the en321 wheels as they're more of an enduro rim, the XM is a trail rim. Deore hubs are solid, not as well sealed as more expensive shimano hubs imd but keep on top of maintenance and they're ok.0

I'd look at the Merlin sale wheels.0

I ran a bike on XM317 rims for 5 years with no bother. Can't fault them for the money.0

Cheers. How about the Deore hubs? It's the rear hub I've broken on my original wheels.
There's no weights listed for either set, anyone know what sort of weight they come in at?0 -

Deore hubs are fine, if you service them.
How do those compare to the other rims? Looks like the hubs are centrelock disc fitment on those? Silver spokes too (call me a tart, but I'd rather have black, lol).0 -
Are centrelock, but come with rotors. Rims are decent budget offerings. Spokes are superb, DB ACI, about the best out there.0

Theyre not black though, lol. Looks like good value for money, but I'd rather have a conventional 6 bolt hub. I know it shows a rotor in the picture, but it doesn't actually specify that rotors are included?0
