Walney to Wear one day.

I have a plan to cycle the route in one day on the longest day this year.
My folks live on walney and I live a few miles from the finish so it seems Ideal!
I have done a 100 miler at 17mph and some hilly 65 milers with my bike club.
My main concerns are, not sue of the duration of some of the climbs and the road surface on some of the path sections.
Anybody done the route with info on the cycle path sections?
What tyre choice? I have road 28s and 25s and some dry condition cross tyres(32) at the moment.
I will be using my mares cross bike. All sugesstions welcome!
