Any ideas on where to get a full workshop manual / specification for an old Raliegh Merlin?

    I don't think bikes come with workshop manuals. Sometimes they come with generic 'taking care of your bike' manuals. They're bikes; marginally more complicated than an ironing board.

    The interweb has all the information you could ever need. Park Tools or Sheldon Brown would be a good place to start. Youtube is also good for videos of people actually fixing things.

    Old bikes are pretty simple mechanically speaking.
