It's alright, at least it isn't blue and / or black like virtually everything else.

Except the green is too dark for Belkin, it’s like a forest green whereas Belkin seem to use yellow-green (Hex #9ACD32, RGB 154, 205, 50).
Belkin might add a touch of purple too, that's the other colour they seem to use with logos.

I really like the kit. At least they kept the little dot-people things off the front (glad FF's turned out to be only a twitter rumour)

If they extended the mint green down to the black and left out the white band it would look really good, don't like the white band though.

The kit is really nice. A lot better in real life :)

Will be interesting to see if it stands out within the peloton though.

haha, I was lucky to be at the press release earlier today. :D

They also announced on twitter that they would be doing a ride at 4pm with some of the riders. At short notice about 50 people turned up and we rode in the Hilversum area for an hour

    Nice!

Note to self, pay more attention to the Twitter, not that I could have gone but...

  • Anyone else heard the rumour that Giant are currently considering whether to renew their contract (and 3m€) with Belkin or go with Argos-Shimano instead?

Yes thats true.If Giant pull out some of the riders know its probably there last race. Also Belkin may want to bring in American riders.

Presumably, not quite - I'd have thought that, at worst, Giant would be committed until the end of the season?

According to reports in the Dutch De Telegraf Giant had an option in their contract to leave Belkin and an announcement should have been made today 1st July, however no announcement has been made. Can we then take it that Giant stay with Belkin. Also speculation here say Tee Jay Van Garderen will ride for Belkin next season and Lars Boom is tipped for SKY.

The Boom thing I've heard before.

TJVG to Belkin seems a perfect fit - American but with Dutch heritage, came through Rabo Continental

Any announcement as to a change of sponsor should have been made on the 1St July at the latest. As no announcement has been made i,m taking it that Giant stay on as sponsor of Belkin. Really cant see how they can pull the plug now.
