After watching clips on YouTube of cyclists getting knocked down by idiots i'm not after a camera with good quality but not wanting to spend loads.

What cameras do you use?

Preferably one which clips onto the helmet easily and is not huge and too noticeable.

I use a gopro simply because its e best and if you want footage you will regret it if you don't get great footage.
I use a stem mount which is 100% sturdy and simple to fit.

If you want a camera for filming your rides, get the Go Pro. If you want something to record incidents should you be unfortunate enough to be involved in something, then a bullet cam mounted to your helmet might be better. It looks where you look. You can mount the Go Pro to your helmet, but it's not the sleekest looking when on top of your helmet.

Post the same question on the commuting forum, you'll probably get better info.

I use a GoPro Hero 3 Silver mounted to the bars with a K-Edge mount. I bought this camera as I plan on taking it scuba diving and skiing so I needed something waterproof, that and excellent video quality!

don't bother with Go-Pro, very expensive for what it is. bike mount doesn't seem to come with the package which is another load of cash for the mount as it doesn't seem to come with the go pro packages.

I use contour, however my next one will be Xdreme (you really need two for accident purposes, one at the front or helmet and another shoot behind so you can get the person who knocks u)

    another affordable cam

the second one is what i will go for actually cos it supports loop recording so you don't have to worry about deleting files if nothing happens, as the camera will overwrite old data

also recommended by techmoan and can be helmet mounted with velcro. Avoids people realising they are being filmed too.
