Think he might be wearing a back protector after that crash. I didnt have the sound on when i watched it, but you didnt need it to see that was painful...
Gwin didnt look too happy when he got to the bottom. Did he have minions to take away his stuff for him ? he seemed to hand his goggles and bike to someone off camera...0 -
Yeah the sound was genuinely chilling, not nice at all. I'm amazed he walked away from it, though I suppose if he said nothing it could have been much much worse as we saw with CG last year. It's the best track on the calendar IMO but by heck if you get it wrong chances are its gonna hurt big time!0

Wouldn't mind seeing that fall in slow motion, he flips so quickly that before you know it he's on the ground!
A couple of changes to my team have been made, as I don't think 2 of the riders are even competing! No doubt, the 2 I got rid of will start racing and doing well, and the 2 I selected will break bones or something :roll:It takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.

Just spotted, team crudcatcher is currently 7th in the overall team standings too.
Well done team crudcatcher. We may only be able to count to Potato, but it would appear we're reasonably good at picking out people who are good at bikes and stuff.0 -

given the amount of time spent discussing and (in guessing) thinking about bikes and riding bikes, I would expect nothing less
I am however less impressed with being in 4th. That said I'm not convinced ill make any changes this week. I still trust that Manon and Brook will come good.0 -

Completely forgot about this round at Vallnord, as such no changes were made to team CWNT.
Still managed to hold on to my lead in the CC league, but dropped nearly 30 places in the overall standings.
Team Crudcatcher dropped down from 7th to 11th this week too.
Work is needed.0 -

Everyone see the racing yesterday ?
Was a good race. Shame for Rachel though. Has anyone seen her first crash ? I've seen a couple of grainy photos on FB, but no live footage.
No podium for Gwin again.... maybe not quite as sh*t hot as everyone thought he was
