Here' s an updated pic of my 3rd bike, ready for the summer.
BMC Pro Machine SLC01 55cm
Dura-Ace 7800 12-27 cassette, Ultegra SL 6600 brakes, KMC X10SL chain
Rest is Ultegra 6700
Gipiemme Tecno wheels (borrowed until i fund for my own, recommendations very welcome)
Speedplay Zero pedals
There are prettier bikes out there, and maybe with a bit of hard work and a lottery win, one day....
And the steerer is yet to be cut!

I quite like it, think I'd drop the coloured cables and put a black chainset on and its definitely a yes from me.I'm sorry you don't believe in miracles0

thanks! the brake cables are the yellow ones and were the cheapest out when the budget was running low...distinguishable though!0

That's a truly great frameset, still absolutely holds its own against all newcomers!0

That rocks - well smart.0

Here are some fresh wheels from Spokesman Wheels (fantastic service btw).
Velocity A23, with tubeless Ultremos.
Novatec hubs with Sapim CX Ray spokes.
Ride: sublime. Massive difference between these and standard narrow clincher wheels.
However, it does feel a little sluggish to accelerate on the flat but that might just be a tire pressure thing.0 -
