Hi, Go easy please.
Last time I had a bike was a 12speed Ultegra.
So just finished building a new one.
My set up is Dura ace 7800 Rear Mech ans 7800 Bar end shifters
Jagwar cables, Kmc 10.73 chain, Ultegra 6700 rear wheel with 105 12-27 cassette.

Just cant get the indexing to work correctly. It either starts off ok on the small cogs then tries to jump 2 cogs from about 6 unwards. so I make the cable looser then it wont change on the smaller cogs etc.

It obviously work completly different on the way down the cogs (still jumping etc).

All this is whilst the bike is on the stand, not even bothered yet to venture out on the road.

Cheers,

Spencer

    Hi, Thanks,

Tried still no luck for love na money.

But have an old 6speed ultegra tricolour vitus. swapped the rear wheel with 10spd cassette over to it along wi the 10spd chain. put on some dura ace DT shifters and it works fine wi the old rear mech and even the 6spd chain rings.

Swapped the Dura ace r/m on and it still works fine.

    Was following this:
    http://techdocs.shimano.com/media/techd ... 612494.pdf

So put the wheel and the dura ace r/m back on and without the chain this time I reset the limit screws and put the chain back on.

    Low and behold it works!!!!

    Thanks anyway
