I found a Rapha Gilet on the North Downs (Surrey) on Sunday. If you lost one and can tell me the size, colour, what condition it's in and roughly where you might have lost it you can have it back
If no one comes forward over the next week or so I'll be giving it to a friend.

A finder of property acquires no rights in mislaid property, is entitled to possession of lost property against everyone except the true owner, and is entitled to keep abandoned propertyI'm sorry you don't believe in miracles0 -
White, medium and decent condition, must have lost it in the North Downs now that you mention it!
Please post it back to me, I'll pay for the postage. Cheers!Scott Speedster S20 Roadie for Speed

Ay, tis the colour of music, sized to fit snuggly without constricting and looks as though someone has dropped it on the roadside.
Also mum sewed my name in the collar.0 -

I lost a Pearl Izumi gillet on the Galibier a few years ago, don't suppose anyone has picked that up?0

Hehe...nice try guys! I can of course neither confirm nor deny how close any of your potshots are.
The crazy thing is that I need a new gilet, I spent an hour or so on Saturday surfing the net wondering which one to buy and lo and behold...not only do I find one the next day but it's a Rapha! Woohoo! And it's the wrong size. Boohoo. I have to say that whoever did lose it was really quite inconsiderate not losing one in my size *shakes fist*0 -

If it is a size larger then I'd send it back to Rapha and take advantage of their downsize offer and get it in your size!Scott Speedster S20 Roadie for Speed

Black = flattering
XL = think about why you might choose a flattering colour
light use = the owner hardly rides
It's basically betraying the poster's prejudice of what constitutes the average Rapha wearer.Ben

I found 2 £20 notes on the L2B one year. First was just as we left London and 2nd about an hour later.
I thought I was imagining it the 2nd time.
BHF got them in a round about way0 -

Yes!
Any mention of Rapha usually brings out the same old loons, so I - a Rapha wearer - thought I'd chip in, ironically.
Turns out I was too subtle! :PBen

Don't suppose you were in Melbourne Leicestershire/Derbyshire boarder 6-7 weeks back and found my saddle bag ??
with keys and money, gas pump and stan's no tubes ???
as said before - well played for putting it up on the forum0 -
Can I first say that the gilet is not mine, and like you I am a very honest geezer!
My problem is a little different. Over the past few years I have lost numerous high-end road bikes, Castelli bibs, Garmins, Oakleys, Fulcrum 3s etc. In fact it's rare that I go out for a Sunday ride and don't have to walk 30 miles home from the cafe stop, naked and with the sun in my eyes. I also daily ride over every part of the UK, so if you've found any quality bikes or accessories anywhere, over, say, the last 10 years, the chances are they belong to me.
Could you please PM me with a detailed description of whatever you've found, remembering to include its estimated value. If it matches anything I've lost, I'll be right back in touch to arrange collection.
PS. If what you've found is worth less than a couple of hundred quid, please keep it. It's on me. You can also keep the used bibs. Thank you for your honesty.Superstition begins with pinning race number 13 upside down and it ends with the brutal slaughter of Mamils at the cake stop.0 -

I have found a pound coin in the last three shopping trips to Sainsburys! they had been left in the shopping trolleys, I have the habit of scanning the trolleys when I take mine back.
What would YOU do in this situation?0 -
