Probably going to be investing in a 2nd pair of bibs soon (so I don't have to keep washing one pair over and over when I want to go out!) Currently have a pair with the Kiss pad, probably an previous generation of these http://www.wiggle.co.uk/castelli-velocissimo-due-bibshort/. Just wondering how much of an improvement the Progetto x2 pad is in the top of the range models i.e. http://www.wiggle.co.uk/castelli-free-aero-race-bib-short/? At that price point I should really be considering the base level Assos shorts too, but I'm a stickler for Castelli styling

Kiss3 isn't a patch on the Progetto. I'd say this is the best pad on the market today.
I always choose my Aero shorts over the others especially on longer rides.
Mine is now 3 years old to and still going very strong where as Kiss pads have given out.0 -
px2 every time, i prefer it to the assos pads
rather than the aero race, i'd get the body paint bibs, they are the most comfortable i've ever usedmy bike - faster than god's and twice as shiny0 -
Whilst my Aero races are better than my Kiss pad variants, I am now an advocate of Sportful Total Comfort. Same brand and sizing as Castelli but as the name says "total comfort"Coach H. (Dont ask me for training advice - 'It's not about the bike')0
