Castelli shorts owners: Progetto x2 pad vs. Kiss3 pad

Probably going to be investing in a 2nd pair of bibs soon (so I don't have to keep washing one pair over and over when I want to go out!) Currently have a pair with the Kiss pad, probably an previous generation of these http://www.wiggle.co.uk/castelli-velocissimo-due-bibshort/. Just wondering how much of an improvement the Progetto x2 pad is in the top of the range models i.e. http://www.wiggle.co.uk/castelli-free-aero-race-bib-short/? At that price point I should really be considering the base level Assos shorts too, but I'm a stickler for Castelli styling

I always choose my Aero shorts over the others especially on longer rides.
Mine is now 3 years old to and still going very strong where as Kiss pads have given out.
rather than the aero race, i'd get the body paint bibs, they are the most comfortable i've ever used
