Hello 8)
Well, just back from a weeks hols with these guys http://www.basquemtb.com/ - I know some guys on here have ridden with them before, and a few of you wanted to know what I made of it....
Anyway - FABULOUS week and I genuinely couldn't recommend them enough! Doug was an absolute star - his knowledge of the local area was fantastic and he went far beyond the call of duty to make sure the trails were what we wanted, even driving us for hours to get us to better weather and see some sun! He really did go the extra mile to make sure we were all getting what we wanted out of the holiday - in all our cases, lots of interesting and challenging MTB trails. There was also a great mix of trails which I didn't expect - some big mountain Alp type days, other trails felt like biking in the Peak District and a few reminded me of the Purbecks here in the sunny south!
Must also mention the food / wine in the area - let's just say that despite riding all day, every day, I think I've probably put on a pound or two
Anyway, I've done four mtbing hols over the years and this is by far the best (quickly followed by Bike Verbier). Doug is obviously passionate about mountain biking in this area and genuinely went to every effort to make sure we all had the best holiday possible. A great mix of interesting and challenging trails plus lots of nice food and even more nice (and cheap!) wine!!!
What more could you want eh?

Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the number of moments that take your breath away....
