On the assumption that you are talking in general terms and taking everything into account then that is the norm.
If, however, you are specifically talking about the weather then please refrain from spoiling the illusion that the weather in Scotland is significantly worse compared to England. We have spent many years building and perpetuatiing that illusion in order to keep the tourist numbers to a reasonable level, the roads quiet and the country devoid of English accents. Please do not undo all that good work.

Good read. I have just done :LeJog back in April and at times felt lonely even though there was 2 of us doing it and a support crew. Goodness knows how you're keeping yourself positive, I certainly didn't! Wish you every success in completing it.
For a laugh, if you have an hour spare, you can read our experience www.cyclemadness.blogspot.co.uk2012 Bianchi Via Nirone Xenon

Cheers everyone. Last day today.
It hasn't been easy, but even when the going got tough there has not been a time that I wished I wasn't doing it.
Even when coming down from Shap Fell in the rain and wind, it just seemed to add to the challenge.0 -
