Hope Saw rotors with Elixir CR brakes?

Evening all!
This is an unashamedly bling-related question - is it possible to use 183mm Hope Saw rotors with Avid Elixir CR brakes currently kitted with 185mm rotors and their corresponding adaptors, without having to change adaptors? I just like the bling red floating rotors from Hope and red Avid HSX floating rotors seem to have become more scarce than hen's teeth.

Yes.. but there is a risk of the pads overlapping the rotor. See how it looks.0

I have Elixir 3 brakes with a 185mm front disc. I put a 183mm hope floater on and it works fine. It did rub ever so slightly on the fork with the rivets but they work fine now.0
