You don't seem to have mounts for the brakes and shifters?0
-
I've ordered the PARK bicycle maintenance book. Apparently it is all i will need. Going to fit the pedals and seat tomorrow and then go out for a ride up Cannock chase.0
-
i wouldnt be taking that off a curb let alone a trail centre ........
+1 what the chunky lad said.......The family that rides together stays together !

Your going to need new wheels as well as getting new forks if you want to run those disc brakes. I doubt the frame has tans on the rear as well.0
-
Going to fit a Boxxer WC fork, so that'll sort the braking issue. Frame is really well made with lots of weld to keep it strong.0

Few other problems. Threaded headset and possibly a freewheel on top of the others above.
Just seem your fork comment - you're joking right?0 -
How much is that bike worth now?
How much will the upgrades cost?
How much will the bike be worth after the upgrades?
You have no rear disc brake mounts on the frame.“Life has been unfaithful
And it all promised so so much”

200mm travel up front, I'll just plough down the DH. Got some 210mm hope floating rotors coming as well.0
-
No it won't0

It will probably be as good as the Cove and the Big Hit you have on your PB account...
I'd suggest some Deemax rims (built onto the current hubs) and saint cranks to fully make use of all those strong welds.
You also need new dustcaps.0 -
Yeah I just noticed the cove on previous threads. Good piss take though.0
-
Let me also guess you are going to convert to 10x1 speed and run a road cassette with a 48t front ring but this will be your do everything bike so you want it to climb as well as glide over 2ft boulders?0

Busted. It's my new work bike. Comes complete with twisted crank arms and the bars are about half the width of the ones on my other bike.0

Nicely played though. Considering the plethora of BSOs fighting for glory on here at the moment.0 -
