Anyone else got wife bike envy?

So I've spent the morning sunshine cleaning my wife's and my bike in the back garden. When they are both super clean and gleaming in the sun, hers looks much cooler than mine. Though I wouldn't swap. But hers is super smart in the beating sun.

For info my wife has a Scott contessa 2013 105
I have a caad 8 2012 105

My question is, I am the only one here with wife bike envy??

We need to see pictures or this is a pointless thread. Post some of the bikes as well if you like!

Why is this a pointless thread without pictures?? I'm not asking you to vote on who's bike you like best between mine and my wifes. I was asking if you liked your wifes(or husbands) bike better than your own.

You've completely ruined my crap "I just have wife envy" joke too now with that bit of frankly, unneccesary clarification.

My wife has a lapierre bike, not sure of the model but its lovely and MEGA light. When it's next to mine it does look better so I'm with you, maybe I have wife's bike envy ?!? :)

Don't. The OP doesn't do light hearted banter. For info his wife has a Scott contessa 2013 105 and he has a caad 8 2012 105. Those are the facts.

Mine has 5ish cervelo's... doesn't mean she doesn't clean the bikes!

Slightly concerned that bike envy for a 'girls bike' - specifically a Scott Contessa 2013 105 - poses much wider questions that maybe need to be addressed?

I wanted pics too - can see why you ask the question now. I prefer yours though it may be cos hers looks small. And if you really do have envy - go and buy another!
