First 75 miler

Hi Guys,
completed my first 75 miler today with over 3000 ft of elevation after doing my first 50 miler a few weeks ago.
3 blowouts and broken phone mount later I made it home.
First blowout after 30 miles, innertube changed all ok then on a fast descent a double blowout due to a bad bit of road which the shock from the impact snapped of the phone mount which was on the stem.
Luckily the rims are ok and my friend had a spare tube as i'd now used the two spare I had with me.
Nearly the big 40 and weighing 16 1/2 stone doesn't help, but plenty of cycling ahead will hopefully reduce the excess weight.
Cheers

Thanks Oxoman,
there was water on the road and didn't see it until to late. I do prefer doing 26 mile rides but my friend who is superfit and puts me to shame goes away all day on his bike all the time so thought i'd go with him today. I used to be 13 stone until I stopped smoking 10 years ago...The weight is to easy to put on, but hard to get back off!! hoping to get somewhere near where I used to be0 -
Cracking ride, well done.Bad luck on the punctures though but you managed to carry on so well done.Dulce et decorum est Pro patria mori0

Thanks Elderone,
first puncture i've had with the Michelin Pro 4 endurance tyres......they say everything happens in 3's so hopefully that will be the last but I doubt that!0
