Thoughts on 2012 Giant anthem x 29er 0

Hi everyone,
I have a chance to purchase a 2012 anthem x 29er 0 for a very good price but I would like to have your input on how the bike rides ? Components wise, I think there's a lot of value for the price, maybe except for the wheels which I will probably change down the line.
I currently ride an older 2004 anthem, and I find it to be a little to much on the racier side of things for my taste since I'm not racing XC anymore.
Althought I plan to do a couple of marathon type race, I mostly do light trail riding, but I don't want a heavy bike and I enjoys climbing (Might sound a little weird I know).
Do you think the anthem x 29er would be a good fit for my needs ?
