Sette Reken

Hi All,
I currently have a Dawes XC 1.6 and am upgrading slowly as funds allow. I currently have air forks, nukeproof pedals, alloy stem, a carbon bar and some decent tyres. It's still a bit of a fatty so I was thinking of upgrading the frame next as this probably offers the best weight saving?
I've been reading around and seen that the Sette Reken frame has good reviews and is 2041g, it's also quite cheap at around £100 delivered from the states.
My questions is whether this frame would be much lighter than my Dawes frame and justify the money?

I ride all mountain and use my bike to commute and have a large size frame.
Any advice would be most welcome.
Cheers,
Matt

Over 2kg for an alu frame is very heavy. Probably not much of an upgrade at all, and you'd have to take into account the extra customs and tax charges on a US import. By the time you've done that you probably could have bought something better, like an On One ScandAL.0
