Petition To Reduce diesel spills

Saw this on a motorbike site i visit and thought it might be relevant here:

I'm reasonably new to road biking and I've never hit a diesel patch but I imagine it's just as dangerous and unnerving as it is on a motorbike - 23mm tyres have little enough grip without buses and lorries laying down a film of lubricant across the road as well.

    I have yet to have a problem with Diesel spills anywhere I have cycled.

    I think the petition is utterly pointless but as a cyclist/ m/cyclist who frequently (& gingerly :lol: ) negotiates a roundabout that has a filling station adjacent to it an all too real problem.

    Plus in the recent heat if the spill doesn't get you the fumes will :?
