Will these Fox forks fit my Stumpjumper

Hi there,
I'm relatively new to mounting biking, well, I used to race them a bit when I was 16, but I'm now well out of touch.
I recently bought a second hand 2011 stumpjumper elite, but the current standard forks ("Fox F140 RL, air spring, alloy steerer, reb adj., LO, standard drop-outs, 140mm travel") have a small scrape which I stupidly thought wouldn't affect them. We didn't have suspension bikes in my days!!
My local bike shock has recommended that the fork arms are replaced, at a cost of around 300 quid! Gutted is an understatement, but I have found a number of other fox shocks for sale but I don't know what will be a suitable replacement in terms of fitting.
Therefore would someone be kind enough to explain whether the details of the below fork can be fitted to my bike, and what exactly does all the measurements and terminology mean?
"Fox 32 talas 140-120mm black kashima legs. 1.5 taper steerer tube 210mm long. QR 15 axle."
or this one
"Fox 32 Float 140 FIT RLC 9mm QR, Kashima, 140mm,202mm Tapered Steerer
Many thanks
Graham

does your frame have a tapered headtube? if no then no.
pic of bike? spec of bike link? Where in the world are you so someone can check on Speshes web site.
if UK then the answer is no."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Neither of those will fit your Stumpy as they have tapered steerers. The 2011 Stumpy has a straight 1 and an eighth inch head tube.
As for the terminology:
Kashima coating is a gold coloured coating applied to the fork stanchions to reduce friction.
32 is the diameter of the fork stanchions in mm.
140 and 120 are the amounts of fork travel in mm.
9mm QR and QR 15 refer to the diameter of the wheel axle that the forks will accept.
Hope that helps.
Could you post a picture or two of the damage to the forks? They may be repairable for less than you have been told.
The spec for the UK version of the 2011 Stumpjumper Elite is HERE“Life has been unfaithful
And it all promised so so much”

Thanks for the clarification guys. So are normal forks usually labelled non tapered then?
Also, without measuring, how can I tell the diameter of the wheel axle, and can I go smaller or larger if required?
So basically I need to be looking for a non-tapered steerer, to fit an eighth inch head tube. Oh, and how did you find out the head tube size just for future reference.
Thanks again.0 -

measure the headset. info can be found on Parktools or even Speshs web site."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Do you current forks slot onto the axle from above with the ends of the forks being a 'C' shape? Or does a bolt screw through holes at the end of the fork?
The former is QR/9mm the latter is 15mm0
