    Lovely.

I think I'd be scared to ride it though.

That is Epic's photo wall, they took a photo as soon as they built it (while I was there actually), But thats the very same bike (photos on page 1) being unpacked in my house. As for the groupset, well, I think it's what you get on with. I've had Campag before and prefer Dura Ace. Sorry.

Yes with an expensive bike like that you've got to be pro level, that's the rule.

I thought the Sempre was a great ride but this is just amazing. Comfortable (for a race set up) on long rides, responsive, fast, I can feel it just wanting to go on the hills. I'm really happy with it, so glad I took the plunge so to speak. Caused a bit of trouble on the training run this morning!!

That's one sexy bike you must be really pleased. I just hope you'll take the barcode off the stem before you take it out, somebody will make a sly comment.

But seriously lovely and looks fast.

Thanks, i'm really pleased with it. It makes an amazing sound and certainly stands out on the club run... when the sun's out of course! ;0)
Im curious to know what this is? I've heard bikes make a lovely sounds but wondered what its called and how its achieved! no doubt its gearing but what??

  • HO - LEE - COW that's cool. I like it a lot, not for me personally but it's a mean looking machine. You really need to:
    a) slam that stem
    b) take the white barcode sticker off the stem (or magic marker over it)
    c) the brake levers look wonky in relation to each other, put a steel ruler over the hoods to check their levelosity/ horizontality.
The titifers have sung their song.

    Now it's time for sleep.

It's actually the wheels. They have hollow cavities that make a droning sound. It's quite an unusual noise but sounds great... and fast!
