500 solo miles in 72 Hours

Appeal on behalf of a good mate here. Tom is a SE London commuter who has decided to ride 500 miles solo in three days to raise money for some charities close to his heart. They include the London Air Ambulance who I'm sure we all believe in even if we hope never to need them.

He will need to do 170miles a day to pull it off and especially as it is solo and unsupported I think it is well outside of sponsored jolly territory.
