I am doing up a female friends Carrera Kraken W Spec bike.
Her bottom bracket makes a ticking/creaking noise so I want to get it out and have a look. This is the spec of her bike:

* 7005 aluminium frame with double butted main frame tube with female fit geometry
* Suntour XCR 100mm travel fork with magnesium lowers, 30mm stanchions, adjustable preload, rebound damping and remote lockout
* 27 speed, SRAM X5 front mech, X5 triggers and X5 rear mech
* Truvativ Isoflow chainset with powerspline bottom bracket
* Tektro Auriga hydraulic disc brakes, 160mm rotors
* DDM-1 double wall disc specific eyeletted rims on Formula QR hubs
* Tioga Extreme XC 2.1" tyres
* Narrower handlebars, shorter cranks
* Female fit saddle for added comfort
* Oversize bar and stem

I cant see a Truvativ Powerspline BB tool anywhere. However, am I right in presuming Truvativ is owned by SRAM, and one of their BB tools will work?

Cheers.

    You may well need forearms like Popeye to get it undone. A long extension bar can be handy.

    Thanks guys for your help, after some more research you are correct about it being a 20 tooth tool and I have ordered one.
    Cheers!
