Bent inner chainring

Hi
Recently I have replaced the rear cassette and a new chain on my bike
Once this had all been completed i just went for a ride to test it out and put a lot of pressure to see if it was ok.
It wasn't. I have completely bent the inner chainring. I can provide a picture if needed.
Im taking it to a mechanic but im wondering if anyone knows how it happened?
There was no major impact or other things banging just riding after replacing parts
I have also changed my cassette from 11-34 to 11-32.

Possibly shifting under pressure. Try and bend it back if you can.0

Here is the picture to show the extent of the problem
The bike is 2 years old and the part has not been replaced but as I said in the first part cassette and chain have been replaced - could the metal be weakened after two yearsI Ride Bikes. "doesn't get easier, you just go faster"0 -

Can't make out the bend there."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Mechanic said that the chainring was bent already due to impact, he found other bend in another positions. He said that the ring was bound to go. Lucky I did it on the roads instead of the trails.I Ride Bikes. "doesn't get easier, you just go faster"0
