    i have done two trips with it and its happened on both

    never had really much issues with the Strava / Endomondo app on my old Android, iPhone 4 and now my iPhone 5s... battery life seems fine. can easily do 3-4 hours on a full charge, which is usually more than enough for the average ride on both trails or the road.

    Bit of a thread resurrection!

    The delay will be the time it takes for the GPS to log on most likely. Will take longer if you live somewhere with lots of trees/buildings and thus an obscured view of the sky.
