Back Wheel Removal
Apologies i feel a bit embarrased  to ask this & it be one of the sillier questions on here but....I've had my Road Bike a few months now & had my first visit from the P*ncture Fairy this morning (fortunately outside my house rather than in the middle of nowhere).
I had Mudguards (SKS Raceblade Long) & a rack fitted at the time of purchase & never really looked at exactly how they are attached  so my question before I start is do i have to do anything different to get the wheel off?
don't have issues with removing a wheel normally but just haven't had a bike with full guards before & would prefer not to make a hash of it!
On the Tyre front, I've got the stock tyres that came with the bike - Bontrager ( its a Trek 1.2). I haven't had a chance to check the state of the tyre yet so it may be OK but would this be a good time to consider swapping to something like Gatorskins? or is it better just to wait & change it when the need arises.
Thanks

wheel removal should be no different to normal.
rack and guards should not effect anything."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Shift into the smallest sprocket on the back. Undo the skewer and pull the rear mech back so it's out of the way. The wheel should drop out, but make sure you take the chain off the cassette.

I have no idea what's going on here.0
