Morning Losers!

I'm achig a bit this morning from Judo last night. It was so warm and humid that doing Judo was not advised, I was a sweaty mess by the end of it.
Today is just another day, nothing of interest is happening at all. In fact, I have the pleasures of a meeting with someone about risk assessments. I know, exciting!

    been working away hoping the threat of 20 - 30 mm of rain holds off till after finishing time today..... also i have been working away on some reallllly :roll: exciting safe work method statements for entering stormwater pits..... wahoooo.... the exciting life of an engineer i hear you cry! :lol:

    found bacon in the freezer this morning so snacks are sorted for later :P

    Hello Scuttlers
    Well I'm almost moved in now all that's left in the old place is my computer and desk as we've got no interwebs.
    Not liking a 45 minute commute in though as opposed to a ten minute ride but still. Found out yesterday that both my neighbour, next door but one and the guy directly behind all mountain bike and it's a bit of a neighbourhood club which I'm most welcome to join. .......I think I shall do well here

    Anyway if the good Lord spares us and the creeks don't rise I'll see you all later. Tarrah

    Morning

    Feel fresh today as a decent sleep and no ale last night (just to please Stevo) :)

    Today is prepare for a kicking at tomorrows meeting in London village, the only bright side is I have ordered some new wheels for the urm gaybike and now just trying to convice myself that £180 is too much to spend on a helmet.

    Decent enough morning so I brought the bike into work this morning. Maybe not the best of ideas because I twisted my ankle last night playing badmintion. It didn't feel too bad at the time but this morning it was as stiff as a stiff thing. Guess I'll just have to sit and rest it all day.

    Swimming tonight so that is something to look forward to.

    Cracking ride in this morning on the full-susser (which just seems to make me ride like a hooligan) followed by a morning of meetings ('work'? Pah!) and then some more 'knowledge dissemination'.

    'Dissemination'. Isn't that how that make cows have babies?

    Onwards! To coffee! Because makes make any meeting go grrrrrrrrrrrreat!
    How would I write my own epitaph? With a crayon - I'm not allowed anything I can sharpen to a sustainable point.

    Anywhoo, productive night in my man cave last night, all flooring is down and things are sorted into their relevant draws, now all it needs is the garage door to actually open and its done! maybe source some decent bike hooks too at some point?

    No idea what today will bring but i'm gonna start it off well with more coffee's and porridge. (No bacons as that means going outside)

    Greetings Programs.

    Today i am waiting for free food witht he bike in the car giving relationship advice to a workd colleague :? like i'm any good at that but she seems to think so lol.

    Mucho rides later hopefully unless it belts down then i will ride tomorrow as its meant to be sunny, and can't be bothered to wash my bike if its hammering down.

    Spent 2 hours last night trying to upload my vid from antur stiniog to pink bike with no joy! :x

    I've also woken up this morning with a cold :x

    I've done loads of work and its only 10 o clock, I'm hungry too but trying to be good, but bacons is calling :)

    First day back at work after my eye op last week. Can just about see ok now though really wish I had milked it for another few days at least but back now so may as well just grin and bare it. Don't think I'll be allowed out on the bike for another couple of weeks (having blurry vision on one side could lead to a nasty off) :(
    Contemplating on going to the wee van and get a roll and bacon (or 2)

    Well time for a days update...... my two trips to Treherbert have ended up being half done by a trainee which means loading about had been done, Sunday I got a free old retro wardrobe off gumtree in exactly the style we are doing the dressing room it happened to be over the road from old house and on the one day I had a van, then found an even nicer table and chairs for twenty quid after the woman who had promised to sell hers to me sold it elsewhere and I just found the exact change for coffee in my pocket. The lady fortnight had tested me but hopefully these and the nice neighboursare the green shoots of a change in fortune

    RAAGHHHH thats it i'm gonna finish early today and go ride had enough... done i'm going to leave someone on the trail head backwards in a ditch.. in fact head turned round a good few times!

    Well that's my evening ride at Cwmcarn cancelled..

    Woke at 4am this morning, so absolutely shattered and legs still a bit creaky after the weekend, but will squeeze in a ride nonetheless - 'tis rare for the trails to be in this good a state, so make the best of it. Heading home at lunch to see what delights my freezer has to offer. Maybe a bit of thai curry from last week.

    It is now hotter than the surface of the sun here and i am sweating like a policeman in a spelling test, the aircon in my monster truck cannot cope and i have a sweaty crimper!!!

    Wish I had time to waste playing online games in the office :( Seems to be all happening at once here. But on the bright side I got to pedal in this morning and we've got 'team' drinks this evening which just happen to be free, so think I'll be taking the train home...

    Rushing through work as I don't want to be here a minute longer than I have to be tonight as I'm going for a run. And I can't leave things for tomorrow as I am out on a training course in the afternoon. And then a minion has selfishly booked Thursday and Friday off!

    Not long to the hen party and it appears the London contingent (the majority) are organising a lot of things tonight so I can deal with that. All I need to do is get there with the teenagers and pitch a tent it seems.

    African bound sister has survived a safari on which the jeep broke so much they pushed it out of a lot of ditches with lions eyes watching them. She is home next week so I'll be expecting the angry mothership to come back out.

    Sending someone to the shop in a minute to get me sweets.

    If the weather holds, and it's still light enough, think a quick blast around a trail. Someone needs to hide a certain young lady's bike so I can at least pretend I have a chance of catching up....

    Will probably need to visit a friend as they seem to be going through a depressing episodes of sorts
