Hello one and all,
I fancy doing my first bike build and want to build a street/dirt jump bike. Im after a decent reliable frame but at the lower end of the price scale. Dont have a price in mind as still looking around at prices etc. My only concern at the moment is i am 6'4" and 20 stone. Though im more stocky tan overweight, so worried in that aspect, though if its designed to take hits it should be ok with my weight as long as i put a decent fork on it wont it? I do plan to lose weight and get down to 16 stone.
Any recomendations?
Cheers!

I'm 6'2" and about 15st on a good day and have an NS Metropolis http://www.ns-bikes.com/metropolis-2,56,pl.htm
I think you'd have to try hard to break it like most jump bikes it's a blunt instrument & not at all like a mountain bike it's more like a bmx for grown-ups. Size-wise it's quite long and roomy (for a jump bike) but of course it's very low - standing up pedalling only.0 -
Cheers bud, may consider it but im after just a frame as want to build one!0
