Fitting Fat Albert tubeless tyres with inner tubes

Tried fitting the above tyre tonight to my bike with inner tube and had a nightmare, just couldn't get the tyre on the rim.....broke a load of tyre levers in the process. I don't understand why it's such a tight fit. Anybody got any ideas on how I can get it on the wheel?
