Is there a width when you replace a brake rotor? just wondering as I'v had some for a fair few years but not sure how to work out if they are at the end of their life.

Most rotors are 2.0mm thick, some light weight ones 1.8mm. With accurate calipers you can measure - but it takes a long time to wear them down! I have heard 1.4 quoted as time to change. Sometimes you can see the wear.

Thanks supersonic, measured them eairler and the front was 1.6 and has been on a few bikes. Time for a new set from SuperStar then.
