So I've finally come to the conclusion that even with a 60mm stem my beloved Cannondale CAAD5 is too big for me. This is my number two bike, I work in Aberdeen during the week and it lives there for rides after work. It's ideal as it has mounts for a rack and real mudguards. But it's just too long, top tube is 54.5cm and I need something smaller. Shame, it's beautifully made.

Ideally I'd like a 50 or 52cm CAAD5! But I'm open to any quality alloy or carbon frame so long as it has at least some clearance for slimline mudguards. I looked at a 52 Pinarello but it's top tube was the same length as a 54 CAAD5 so if you know the top tube length or where I can find a geometry chart for any potential replacement so much the better.

Would prefer just the frame and fork but may be interested in a whole bike I can swap bits onto (CAAD5 has Dura Ace 7800 and Ultegra wheels). Main bike is a Specialized Roubaix and another of those would go down nicely.
